Looking to get a head start on Christmas shopping? Do you love comics, zines, animations, and more kooky creations? You’re in luck! Seattle’s 2nd Annual Short Run Small Press Fest is at Vera tomorrow, November 3rd. Between the hours of 10:30 and 5:30, this festival will feature nearly 100 small press exhibitors and performers offering their comics, zines, and art books for sale from $.50 to $50.00! Join us to see local animation screenings from SEAT and Reel Grrls, a workshop with advice expert Nicole Georges, get a free hair-cut from Zach Mandeville, and even participate in a live silk-screening where you can screen print a comic drawn by local artists or print one of our designs onto clothes you bring yourself. Don’t pass by the decadent bake sale with donated goodies from Macrina Bakery, Grand Central Bakery, The Bang Bang Cafe, Stumptown Coffee, and our exhibitors and supporters! Games, bookie treats, and good eats! Come hang out at this FREE festival and nab some sweet gifts for you and your friends.
