A companion to our Live Sound 101, Studio 101 is a two-hour introduction to the workings of Vera’s recording studio. Beginning with the basics, our professional studio engineers will explain Vera Studio’s mixing board, signal flow, and standard micing techniques as well as studio etiquette, organization and maintenance. Students with experience will especially enjoy discussions about our recording equipment such as our Microphones, Preamps and ProTools HD set up.

• Classes held on third Saturday of every month 12 to 2 PM.
• Prerequisites: Vera Live Sound 101
• Class Size: Minimum 4 Maximum 12
• Cost: all Vera classes are $30, which can be paid via card over the phone (206.956.8372), or cash/check/card in person. (we ask for advance payments to guarantee spots in a class.)

After you complete Studio 101 you are qualified to volunteer for recording shows and to assist in studio sessions as well as to take advantage of opportunities that arise for our tech volunteers (tours, field trips, internships, etc).
