We’re hiring a Rentals & Operations Coordinator!

The Vera Project seeks an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and organized Rentals & Operations Coordinator to serve as VERA’s front desk operator, office admin, and point person for venue rentals. This position requires the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and flexibility in performing a wide variety of duties. No prior experience is necessary, just flexibility and open- mindedness; VERA prides itself on experiential learning, including on-the-job training.

The Rentals & Operations Coordinator is the primary source of information to the public, supports administrative functions on a daily basis, and creates and maintains systems for The Vera Project to operate efficiently. A passion for engaging with the public and provide information about The Vera Project is absolutely essential, as this person is responsible for answering questions and greeting folx via the phone, email, and walk-ins.

GiveBIG is a 24-hour online giving event hosted by the Seattle Foundation on May 9th 2018. 

GiveBIG is one of VERA’s biggest fundraising days of the year, and the LAST ONE that Seattle Foundation will be hosting. 

This year, every donor at any giving level will be invited to a super select VERA show in June! PLUS additional incentives (*cough* NEW MERCH *cough*) at specific donation amounts.

We’re hiring a Fundraising & Development Manager!

The Vera Project seeks a skilled and well-organized professional to support its ongoing community building, storytelling, and fundraising efforts.

The Fundraising & Development Manager will work with VERA staff to organize & host fundraising events, write & assemble grant proposals, research funding prospects, maintain positive donor relations, and work with The Vera Project board, staff, and membership to maintain the organization’s sustainability, visibility, and community relevance. The Vera Project operates through a participatory structure that encourages intergenerational collaboration & participation in all realms of the organization. As such, this position will work on fundraising projects with our Board of Directors, as well as the young people VERA works with.
