The Vera Project

161 Republican St.

In this 2-hour workshop, students will have a practical grasp on lighting concepts and console operation, and gain hands-on experience programming lights for Vera’s mainstage. Participants of the class will also gain basic fundamental knowledge of working with artists and production staff to elevate the concert experience as a lighting engineer.  Complete this class to be eligible for Lighting Engineer volunteer shifts at Vera shows!

Youth 5 and under may provide a negative COVID-19 test within 48 hours of the class. For the duration of the workshop, attendees will be asked to wear masks, maintain social distancing where possible and sanitize hands between use of materials or equipment. Please do not come to Vera if you test positive for COVID-19, are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms or if you had a recent exposure to someone with COVID-19.
