This 3-week, project-based embroidery workshop & kit is an avenue for creation and community, through lenses of DIY merch and self care.

This three class series is an avenue for creation and community, through lenses of DIY application and self care. With your included embroidery kit, you’ll access group discussions, instructor presentations and own time activities in and outside of class with the opportunity to share progress. Starts with the fundamentals of embroidery which will set the foundation for any needlework project. Assignments will challenge students to imagine different kinds of merch, the various applications and possibilities with the medium of needlework. In the end students will have embroidered pieces for themselves or to share with their communities.

  • February 9 – 23 (Tuesdays), 6 – 8 pm
  • May 2 – 16 (Sundays), 2 – 4 pm

They play guitar and sing in the bands SOAR and Void Boys. Shannon is the founder of Psiclops Press, a print and design studio, focusing on limited edition handmade textiles, books, and paper goods.
