Calling all home studio artists and audio engineers! Learn intermediate-to-advanced concepts and techniques for mixing and mastering music in this 3-week workshop catered for people looking to improve their post-production audio skills. Taught by recording engineer and producer Lilian Blair, this virtual workshop offers interactive demonstrations, real-life examples, and take-home resources for a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) environment.

You can mix and master provided tracks or bring your own projects to collaborate with and get feedback from other students. Learned skills include: session organization, tone shaping, and creative mixing techniques for genres such as indie rock and electronic music. This workshop includes mix-along activities, group discussions, and on-your-own assignments.

To participate in this class, you will need: A computer with Digital Audio Workstation software (Pro Tools recommended, other common DAWs such as Ableton Live, Reaper, FL Studio are also acceptable), headphones or mixing monitors. Class materials are hosted on Google Classrooms website and video meetings are conducted on Zoom. You must have or create a personal Google Account to be able to access the class website.
