Photo/Video Blog: Meet Taya Strauss

For the first edition of our monthly photo/video blog we’d like to spotlight Taya Strauss! And her recent work ‘reminiscence‘, an experimental short film depicting the connection between music and memories.

From her website: “Taya Strauss is a young filmmaker from Seattle and currently based in New York City. She is a film and television undergraduate student at New York University with an interest in cinematography and writing. Her interest in film sparked from hobbies including concert photography at The Vera Project and writing for an independent media website called Scratch Cinema.
Her work focuses on capturing authenticity and emotion in themes such an as nostalgia, grief, and the beauty of the natural world.”
