PRIVATE SCREEN PRINTING CLASSES
Private Screen Printing classes at Vera are a fun, creative, and collaborative activity suitable for anything from a team building workshop for corporate events, to a private learning experience for groups of friends or family! Participants will gain entry level experience in different techniques of screen printing, and walk away with their own hand-printed product. Taking one of these private classes also makes participants eligible to participate in Open Sessions at The Vera Project. Please read all the information below before submitting a request at this link. We require at least three weeks of time between your request and the actual date of the workshop. We will respond to your request over email with potential dates and a price estimate.
Option 1: Poster Printing (1 or 2 colors)
Learn the basics of screen printing on paper at The Vera Project’s screen printing studio! With this class package, participants will print their own 1-2 color paper poster in the span of a 2-3 hour class. The class will be taught by an experienced Vera instructor with industry experience with all materials covered and provided by Vera. Over the course of this class, participants will learn basic techniques and terminology used in an entry level printshop, while engaging in a fun, hands-on creative activity with their peers.
- 2-3 hour class (dependent on number of colors)
- 1-2 color print on poster paper
- 6-12 participants
- Provide us with one of your own designs for the whole group, or choose from a Vera logo
Option 2: Tote Bag Printing (1 color)
In this course, participants will learn all the steps to printing their own tote bag, from starting with a design on stencil, to printing the bag itself. With this class package, students will practice printing three tote bags with a shared design over the course of 3 hours. The class will be taught by an experienced Vera instructor with materials provided by Vera. Over the course of this class, participants will learn basic techniques and terminology, specifically regarding printing on fabric, while engaging in a fun, hands-on creative activity with their peers.

- 1-color print on whole cotton tote bags
- 6-12 participants
- Provide us with one of your own designs for the whole group, or choose from a Vera logo
Option 3: T-shirt Printing (1 color)
Learn how to screen print a team design on t-shirts! In this class, participants will print their own wearable t-shirt in a hands-on, interactive course. Participants have the opportunity to practice on printing three different shirts over the course of 3-4 hours. The class will be taught by an experienced Vera instructor, with all materials provided by Vera. Over the course of this class, participants will learn basic techniques and terminology, specifically regarding printing on fabric, and walk away with their own wearable art.
