THE BEST WEEK OF THE SUMMER IS BACK!

June 9th marks the beginning of our thirteenth annual boozy fundraiser, A Drink for the Kids! Just in time to help you gear up for a glorious summer, when the days are long and the cocktails are strong, we invite Seattle’s 21+ music and arts-loving community to support all-ages programs at The Vera Project by having a drink with us at our favorite neighborhood bars.

We are excited to welcome back last year’s liquor sponsors, Tito’s Vodka and local distillery 3 Howls, as well as three new sponsors, Batch 206 Distillery, Hilliard’s Beer, and Jones Soda Co. During A Drink for the Kids, 100% of the proceeds raised from the purchase of any sponsored beer, cocktails, or soda will directly benefit The Vera Project. Each night will feature raffles with fun prizes from our partners.

Humorously named by founder James Keblas (former Director of Seattle’s Office of Film and Music), A Drink for the Kids encourages the 21+ crowd to come out and raise funds in support of The Vera Project and its all-ages music and arts programs. The Vera Project is a volunteer-fueled non-profit music and arts space located in Seattle Center that offers popular music concerts, arts programs, classes in silkscreening, audio production, DJing, and more, as well as experiential learning and volunteer opportunities. Programs are open to all ages with a focus on young people ages 14 to 24. The skills participants gain at The Vera Project activate future creativity, careers, and leadership within the organization as well as in the greater creative community. The Vera Project engages thousands in the arts, develops the future of the music industry, and supports a vibrant Seattle culture.
