The Vera Project and Northwest Arts Streaming Hub (NASH) are excited to present Digital Production Lab Northwest: a new, free-of-cost media production career training and curatorial program for youth ages 15-24. Youth selected for this four-month program will get hands-on experience in audio, video, design, and livestream production; opportunities to meet with diverse leaders in the digital creative industry; and direct access to paid production opportunities with local organizations.
Apply to one or both tracks for this program:
(1) A Digital Production Learning Cohort – The cohort will participate in 3 intensive weekend trainings with industry professionals, have access to a variety of on-demand advanced tutorials, receive a $500 grant to purchase personal production equipment, and a $250 stipend to complete two projects which will stream live in May as part of NASH at Nite (a Northwest variety show). No experience required to participate! Training weekend dates: Feb 26-28, Mar 13-14, Mar 27-28.
(2) A Curatorial Fellowship – Fellows will work closely with mentors in the industry to curate and produce an 8-episode season of NASH at Nite (a variety show amplifying local artists in the Northwest)in April-May. Each Fellow will receive a $600 stipend per episode curated. This opportunity is tailored to folks who already have some digital production skills.
